2022 Holiday Events Around Pascack Valley

‘TIS THE SEASON

It’s that time of the year when the local Pascack Valley communities roll out a series of events to celebrate the coming 2022 holidays. From parades to light shows to concerts, there are a number of ways to enjoy the festivities of the season without having to go too far. As your local Pascack Valley expert, I’ve compiled a list for you so that you don’t miss any of the fun.

HILLSDALE
Hillsdale will be holding its Annual Holiday Light Display Contest in addition to hosting Holiday in Veterans’ Park with a chorus, Christmas Tree Lighting and Menorah Lighting. And, don’t forget The Orchard of Lights at Demarest Farms, which runs until 12/30/22.  A Very Broadway Christmas will be performed at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church too.

PARK RIDGE
Park Ridge has planned a Holiday Light Contest as well as a Tree Lighting this year.

WOODCLIFF LAKE
This year Woodcliff Lake will host its Tree Lighting, and everyone is invited. You can also drop off your Letters To Santa too.

WESTWOOD
Westwood is well known for the fabulous Home For The Holidays event, which features a big parade, Tree Lighting, music, food and more! 

EMERSON
Emerson will be hosting a Christmas Tree Lighting with the Emerson Jr./Sr. High School Choir and Photos with Santa.

ORADELL
Oradell is also hosting a Tree Lighting event. Santa will be there too! And, if you miss him there, he’ll be back again at the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department.

TWP. OF WASHINGTON
The Township of Washington has a whole bunch of activities and events this season, including a Holiday Home Decoration Contest, Tree Lighting, Menorah Lighting, Santa Visit, Library Holiday Event, The Holiday Winter Special event at Bethany and much more. RIVER VALE
River Vale will be hosting two separate events: A Christmas Tree Lighting and A Chanukah Menorah Lighting.

RIVER EDGE
There are a lot of activities at the River Edge Annual Holiday Lighting this year, including performances by the River Dell Marching Band and Hawkapella, the a cappella ensemble. There will also be a Caroling Sing-Along with the River Edge Girl Scouts, photos with Santa, snacks, crafts and hot chocolate. 

HO-HO-KUS
The Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus has several events and activities this season, including a Tree Lighting, Candlelight Tours, performances of The Christmas Carol and Dickens at The Hermitage.

PARAMUS
Don’t miss the Winter Wonderland in Paramus, featuring rides, activities, snacks, PHS choir, Santa and the tree lighting.

SADDLE RIVER
The Saddle River Tree and Menorah Lighting will include music, refreshments and a visit from Santa.

UPPER SADDLE RIVER
The Upper Saddle River Historical Society has an event Come Home For The Holidays at the Hopper-Goetschius House Museum. 

MONTVALE
Not just one or two, but Montvale is hosting three upcoming Holiday Events, including a Gingerbread House Decorating event, a Christmas Tree Lighting event and a Menorah Lighting event. 

BERGEN COUNTY ZOO AT VAN SAUN PARK
And, of course, we can’t forget Van Saun Park. There are two special events this season: Let It Glow: A Holiday Lantern Spectacular and The Winter Wonderland.
